Bali questions
Which networks will I use?
Telkomsel, Indosat and XL. Your phone joins whichever is strongest where you are, and switches if signal changes.
Does it work outside Bali?
Yes, it covers all of Indonesia wherever Telkomsel, Indosat or XL has signal, including Lombok and Jakarta. Coverage can be patchy on small islands and out at sea.
Do I get a Bali phone number?
No. Tetherd plans are data only. Keep your own SIM switched on for calls and texts from home, and use WhatsApp, FaceTime or Messenger over your data.
When does my plan start?
When your phone first connects to a network in Bali & Indonesia. Install it at home the day before you fly. The days don't start counting until you arrive.
