Thailand questions
Which networks will I use?
TrueMove H and DTAC. Your phone joins whichever is strongest where you are, and switches if signal changes.
Does it work on the islands?
Yes, wherever TrueMove H or DTAC has signal, including Phuket, Koh Samui and Krabi. Remote beaches and boat trips can be patchy.
Can I use it in Vietnam or Cambodia too?
No, this plan only works in Thailand. Going on to Vietnam? Add a Vietnam plan.
Do I get a Thailand phone number?
No. Tetherd plans are data only. Keep your own SIM switched on for calls and texts from home, and use WhatsApp, FaceTime or Messenger over your data.
When does my plan start?
When your phone first connects to a network in Thailand. Install it at home the day before you fly. The days don't start counting until you arrive.
